Leo had been running phased for days. Hunting and just getting used to his werewolf form. For some reason though, he felt very sad and very alone, even more so than in his human form. He lay across the top of the cliffs. His shaggy dark brown almost black wolf form very striking across the cliffs. He threw back his head and howled. At this point he didn't care who heard, he wanted some company.
He lay his head back against his paws and whimpered. "If I have to be alone even like this, what's the point." He thought sadly. He looked out across the water and the horizon. He'd never felt so alone.

Jacob had been doing his regular check up of his territory, careful not to cross the lines with Sam. They hadn't been talking since Jacob had gone his own way. Oh well, what did it matter? Sam was doing fine on his own anyway.
Jacob viewed the trees, listening to Seth and Leah Clearwater argue with each other, via mind reading. He shook his head, his hair flopping in his eyes. Those two were always arguing about something. Even in his human form, it was not hard to miss the usual bicker echoing in his head.
So far he had claimed no new scent, or any trespassers for that matter. This was good. Jacob had gone ahead and began heading down to the cliffs, near First Beach, which were in the borders of his territory.
He considered phasing into his wolf form, then reconsidered. He wasn't scared of humans being there, he just wanted to patrol his grounds without arousing any suspicions.
He had gotten a few feet towards the beach, when he suddenly stiffened, and then whirled towards the cliffs, as a wolf howl pierced through the peaceful silence of the beach.
He looked over at the cliffs, and found that there had been somebody on his territory, although he was not sure who it was. He growled softly, wondering if this wolf was one of Sam's pack.
He cautiously made his way over, taking his favourite way up. The massive black wolf was completely unfamiliar to Jacob, but he cleared his throat anyway, in an attempt to show this wolf who was behind him.
"Do you realize where you are right now wolf?"

Leo's back stiffened as he smelt another werewolf in the area. He got up on all fours looking down over the beach he had to know where the scent was coming from. He couldn't be sure that the other wolf wasn't an enemy and he just didn't like enemies so close to his house. He heard the voice behind him and in his head. "Si please either in my head or out loud, not both." He walked into the the bushes and came out in human form. "Yes I know where I am, I'm not a mile from my house and less than three miles from my office, El Tigre Construction." He replied.
"How is it that I could hear you in my head and out loud, that's never happened to me before." He asked curiously. It was almost as if this boy was his leader and somehow he knew and understood that. "What's happening here? How come I hear you in my head?" He asked confused.
