Susan nodded "that sounds fine Jay, I was hoping I'd get alittle more time to hang out with you and not just go out to dinner and then leave" she walked with him up to the house. She was so happy and excited, but she had to dodge his question about her being so warm, maybe she could blame it on the humidity. She couldn't avoid it forever, but she would try.
She looked around the inside of the house, marveling at how beautiful and simple it was. It was a very beautiful structure. She let him escort her to the sofa, she sat infront of a big plasma screen tv, she was amazed, just at how much they had, she expected him to be middle class but she didn't expect him to be rich like her. Maybe this would turn out better after all.
She sat down and curled her knees up to her chest as she took off her flip flops and her jacket. She was wearing a black dressy top that complimented her pale but naturally tan skin with a pair of tan ca pries. She was comfortable and dressy at the same time, she looked at him as he went to set beside of her, she scooted closer to him as he had already picked out a movie for them to watch. She sat her chin on her knees as she watched the movie, she felt his arm go around her, she switched her position to her laying in his lap, she felt a sudden chill she found a blanket and threw it over her torso and her legs.
She looked up at him and smiles as she turns back to the movie which happened to be Nightmare on Elm Street. She was perfectly content watching slasher films like these because the blood never looked real, it was almost like she could smell the corn syrup through the screen. She wrinkled her nose as one girl's belly got gutted, there was nothing that looked so fake and the filming wasn't so great, but they were fantastic movies. He had excellent taste in slasher films, she smiled up at him again she curled closely to him and took his hand into hers and intertwined their fingers as their hands rested on her waist.

Jason smiled as they sat together on the couch, he had chosen the movie to scare her closer to him, but it was obviously going down the tube quick. He silently laughed in his head at his own stupidity. He smiled and held her as tight to him as he could, enjoying the feel of her skin brushing his own, again the warmth surprising him. He didn’t ask again, avoiding it until later when he could press her for more answers. He was incredibly intelligent, so he did not forget things at all. He smiled as she pulled the blanket over them and moved gently to be lying next to her, wrapping his arms around her waist and pulling her close to him. She was so beautiful. Jason never gave himself enough credit. He was a descent looking guy, muscled well and smart. But he had never had great self esteem and the constant beatings never helped either.
The film admittedly was so old and low graphic that he could tell it was all badly faked, but oh well. These movies were always his favorites. He watched her every move, expecting her at any moment to call this out as a joke and run out of the house. Honestly it wouldn’t be the first time that had happened. He had been tricked and made fun of so many times. But he refused to think those through, enjoying the moment and making himself believe that this was all real. He leaned over and pressed his luck a little, kissing the side of her neck gently, feeling the warmth of her skin on his lips and smelling a strange woody and slightly spice smell, like crushed pine needles.

Susan took a deep breath in as she felt his soft lips on her neck. She smiled light, she cuddled against him tightly. She was expecting him to just try to and have sex with her, it was guys were mostly after these days, but he seemed to be a true, pure guy, Jason seemed to be a much nicer guy than the ones at his school. She smiles and grabs one of his arms and places it under her head as she takes his hand and kisses it smiling.
She sighed lightly and laid her head down on his arm, she was content here, his cool, soft skin was keeping hers cool and she supposed she was keeping him warm. But if they needed to they could loose the blanket and just use each other as body heat, she felt that his house was sort of cold, but it was colder than she was used to.
She got up and brushed through her hair with her fingers "do you have any soda or something". She got up getting ready to go to the kitchen to get them some soda or water, whatever he was going to drink. She wanted to be a good girl and help him out with whatever she could and she didn't think it would be right for him to get up when she was already up.

Jason jumped up with her, very light and quick. He stood next to her and smiled. “We got anything you want.” He said, taking her hand in his and pulling it to his lips. He breathed in again, smelling her rich and unique scent. He took her into the kitchen and walked over to the refrigerator. He opened it and showed her everything that was inside. He grabbed one of the sodas for her and tossed it at her. He was surprised, as he shouldn’t be by now, but was at how fast she was.
He smiled to himself and walked over to her, standing behind her and wrapping his arms around her waist. He was taller, but not by much. He wasn’t so much short as she was tall. He didn’t care though; he couldn’t get enough of being around her. He leaned down and kissed her neck again and layed his head down on hers, smiling.

Susan smiled up at him, she leaned up and kissed him on the lips, but pulled away quickly. Scared that it might go further than that "Jason you are amazing", she laid her head against his chest and kissed it softly. She had never been so happy in her life. But there was still the matter of what she truly was and what she always will be. She had nothing she could do about this, she had to tell him but she was so scared that he would run from her other self.
She couldn't help but have that being the only flaw in their relationship. She had to tell him sooner or later what she really was, she wasn't human like him, she was a shapeshifter and she was born one. She had a special plan for her, Leo wanted her and she wanted Jason, she was unsure of how this would work out but was ready to get everything settled where she could live happily with Jason, hopefully.

Jason smiled down at Susan; she was so perfect in every way he could think of. Smart, talented, funny, charismatic, and beautiful and so many other things, he could not begin to list them all. He continued to smile down at her and leaned over, kissing her gently on the lips, making sure she could tell that he wanted nothing more from her than her company and her love.
He looked down at her, she seemed…he couldn’t place the word right but troubled seemed to fit. He wasn’t sure but it looked as if she was having a hard time deciding something. “What’s wrong love?” He asked her, a charming small smile on his face.

Susan looked up, seemingly worry free "I'm okay, there's nothing wrong'. She turned and walked back to the living room with her soda in hand, she wondered if there was actually a way to tell him without telling him what she was completely. She sat down on the sofa and sipped her soda again, she curled her knees back to her chest and sat her soda on the table beside of her. She looked as Jason and smiled as he walked back into the living room with her. She wished she could tell him exactly what she needed to, but she had a pact to keep and no matter how much she wanted to tell it she couldn't unfortunately.
She curled next to him as he sat down, she smiled and laid her head down and sighed as she looked up at Jason. "Do you believe in mythical creatures like vampires and such", she didn't have an easy way of explaining this, but she would try without actually telling her secret to him. She was happy with him, but never could be truly be happy if she couldn't tell him what she was. But how would he react to her being a wolf, her other half being a wild animal that could kill someone in a heartbeat. She couldn't take it, she just decided to leave it at what she had until they became serious enough to trust each other more.
She smiled and looked at him and waited for his response, she had no idea how he would react to her other half but she would be willing to deal with it when it came along. She turned the channel and watched something on Animal Planet, she smiled and watched Animal Police. She looked up at him and shivered again, feeling a sudden cold chill along her spine.

Jason sat next to her and almost laughed. “Susan, my mind is 40% more active than the average humans, so I understand more than any person alive. I am willing to accept that there may be things in this world that defies logic, but I have been given no proof to its existence.” He explained, “So to answer your question, no. But that is only for lack of proof and not skepticism.” He smiled at her and put his arm around her, pulling her warm body against his muscled chest and laying his lips on her head.
“Why do you ask Su?” He looked down into her deep blue eye. He smiled gently and waited for her response, wondering what the sudden change in topic could be about. He was pondering a lot of things and several crazy ideas flashed in his mind, but he pushed them away, trying to be logical.

Susan shook her head "No honest reason, I believe that you have to have an open mind to some things, you may not always see something but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist" she looks up at him. She kind of felt let down inside, but she didn't show it in anyway. She had to prove to him that there was such things as what she was, but she couldn't do it herself. She had to keep herself with him or else it would kill her. She had no reason to tell him at this point, but the temperature thing did get brought up alittle too much for her comfort.
But she would hide it as much as she could, until it was time. "What do you want to do now?", she sat up trying to get her mind off of what had just happened. She got up and saw that it was actually 5 in the afternoon about time for dinner. Maybe they could come back to his house later after dinner, she would like that actually, but was alittle scared to push the luck of having someone that is so pure minded or seemed to be pure minded.
She got up and got her shoes on and walked toward the door, "We're taking your car right" she meant that as a joke that her car was just now getting fixed today, her arm had healed completely, she was glad that Jason had not asked about that, because she guessed that he had noticed her sling was not on, but he guessed that the break must not have been that bad and it healed quickly or it wasn't even a break more like a sprain or a fracture.

Jason nodded, “Yeah, my car is faster.” He laughed and walked out of the room for a second. He came back in a nice shirt and his hair was a little neater than it had been. He smiled at her and offered his hand as a gentleman would. He took it and led her on his arm to the garage where his car sat. He opened the door for her and then jumped into his side. He started the engine and pulled out like a lightning bolt. HE was off down the road as fast as he could and hit the highway in no time.
He smiled at her and turned some music on, leaving it as background noise. “Where, my dear, would you like to go?” He asked her gently, a smile on his lips. “Anywhere you want, I am up for anything.” He laughed as they passed a few other cars. He watched her for a response, the smile never leaving his lips. He looked out of the window to the left and into the woods. He thought he saw several large wolves moving through the wood.
“Did you see...” but they were gone as quick as he had seen them. “Nevermind, must be my mind playing some tricks on me.” He laughed and sped out of the town as quick as he could. “So, where too?”

Susan laughed and let him lead her to his car, she got into the car and fastened her seatbelt. She smiled as she watched him climb in, as he did she kissed his cheek and smiled alittle. She had nothing but happiness around him, he made her happy, but still that one little thing kept her thinking and considering telling him more and more about what she was and who she was.
She then saw all of the wolves, her eyes widened, what the hell was going on? She had no idea why they would be all running after one thing, maybe Jake's pack needed help with the Cullen's again she wasn't absolutely sure. But that was really strange, and as he said that his mind was playing tricks, she giggled as if nothing was wrong "yes i suppose it was, but ummm is there any fine sea food restaurants that you like"? She wanted to do something that he liked, it seemed to be all about her but she wanted him to be happy too.
She took his hand as they drove out of Forks, they must be heading to Port Angeles. She was more comfortable in Port Angeles than Forks, because she knew her kind wasn't wanted in Forks or even welcome there hardly. She knew they were welcome if they didn't cause a fight or anything, but knowing her a vampire would come up to her just to start one.

Jason nodded, “Oh yeah, the High Tide is a great place to get some fresh sea food.” He said and took a sharp corner, heading toward the restaurant. He liked the High Tide, it was a great place. The food was fresh and delicious and he had gone there many times. He pulled in to the restaurant, it was huge. He got out and ran over to her door, helping her out. He took her hand and walked inside, thinking of her.
Suddenly the thought of those wolves jumped into his mind and he was thinking about what he had seen. And the more he thought of it, the more he was sure he had not been imagining things. “Table for two.” He said to the hostess. They were taken to a small table and handed menus. He looked at them and looked at her, “I am not sure how this happened but I am happy it did Susan. I really like you.” He smiled.

She let him lead her into the great huge restaurant, she smiled as he was being such the kind gentleman she believed him to be. She sat down at the table that the hostess showed them to, it was in the corner away from people, but most guys did turn their heads when she walked by. She didn't care she had the perfect man she wanted and always will want, these other little boys who call themselves men didn't mean anything to her.
She looked at Jason from across the table and couldn't help but smile at him. He was just so giddy and happy all the time, she could get used to being with someone like this, he made her happy by him just being happy. She started looking at the menu wondering what she was going to order. She didn't want to drain his wallet nor did she want to seem like a pig for eating too much.
She smiled as she heard him talk, "I don't know either honestly, but I am very happy that I found someone like you to be with". She ordered a glass of water as she put down the menu after finding what she would order, she looked at him and then smiled, but then began thinking about the fact that she hasn't told him about her other half yet, she wanted more and more to tell him but all she could honestly tell him was that she was different. This was killing her maybe she could tell him all she could at this point.

Jason smiled back at her, glad to be here with the one girl whom he never thought he had a snowballs chance in hell with. But she had gone for him, to his surprise and to the surprise of probably every person alive. She, Susan Legrow, had gone for him, Jason Keeler. He allowed himself a small secret smile of delight and sheer joy. He smiled and took her hand in his, kissing each finger in turn. He liked how she felt to him, so warm and inviting and kind. She was so perfect to him in every way, it seemed so ideal that his mind often had a hard time actually believing the truth of it.
Of course, as Jason knew it couldn’t, the good time stopped in less than a second. In through the door walked some of the boys from his school, seniors like him, but these were the star football players, and his worst nightmare. They saw him and made a bee line for him. Jason groaned and wanted to hide but would not, not in front of Susan.
“Hey, it’s little Jason.” Said the leader, Butch. The other two laughed.
“Hey Butch, how are you?” asked Jason, trying to be polite. Butch laughed and made a few snide remarks at Jason then looked over at Susan.
“Hey hey hey, what’s up there sweet girl,” Butch said, leaning over toward her.
Jason glowered and reached over to the napkin holder, gripping it tightly. He wasn’t sure what he was going to do but he had an idea. “Back off Butch, we don’t want trouble.” Jason growled.
Butch just laughed and turned to Jason, “Listen geek, take a hike. I think the lady wants to be with some real men.” He jeered at Jason.
Butch reached one large hand out and tried to Push Jason out of the seat, but Jason dodged his hand and swung, napkin holder still in hand, and bashed it off of Butch’s oversized head. He went down hard, but was up a second later and had Jason in his grip, glowering at him now. Butch tossed Jason to his other two friends and had them hold him as Butch prepared to start swinging.
“I will be with you in a minute toots.” Butch said to Susan.
He swung at Jason and hit him hard in the gut, knocking the wind out of him. Jason was suddenly taken back to the night of his terrible beating, the one that had landed him in the hospital. He withdrew into himself, his mind not wanting to bare the pain of it all over again. He went limp in their grasp and his breathing slowed to major levels.

Susan growled at Butch and the others. She stood infront of Jason so they couldn't get to him anymore. She shook with anger, she grabbed a plate and swung it as it collided with the side of Butch's face. She punched the other two out, hearing one jaw break on impact with her fist. She watched them all fall, the two followers didn't get up but Butch was rather persistent. He got back up, even with a cut going across his face where the plate had cut him. She growled and watched as he tried to grab her but she flipped him over the table and ended up breaking the table in the process.
She gathered all three up by their jackets and threw them out of the restaurant. She quickly ran back to Jason and was really worried, she settled herself and picked him up, she got him to his car and put him in the passenger seat, he couldn't protest, because he was short of breath as she drove fast to the hospital. She had no reason to stop driving so fast, she had to get a person to the hospital that was loosing life as the seconds ticked by.
She carried him into the hospital as she screamed at the nurses to get someone to help him. She got help quickly, because she was that intimidating to the other nurses and doctors. She stayed by his side the entire time as they stabilized him and made sure he was okay. They put him into a regular room and let him rest, she stayed right there, holding his hand until he woke up and realized that she had stayed with him the entire time. She couldn't take seeing the one she loved hurt like he was. And she made sure if she ever saw those stupid guys again she would be sure to kill them all three of them. She's gotten out of jail before and can do it again, her family was rich for crying out loud, and her parents would do anything for her.
Finally she felt him stir, tears came to her eyes, she was hoping he could talk and be okay. The doctors had done xrays nothing had been bad on the inside, but there could be something they missed. She was worried and couldn't help but be worried, he was the one she loved and wanted to spend the rest of her life with. She couldn't take living without him and knowing that she would never see him again except in the afterlife, in which she wouldn't be in the afterlife for a very long time.
